Anne Johnson is a 2013 graduate of Drake Law school who is passionate about the struggles of immigrants and victims of domestic violence. She was raised rural Iowa in a family that grew much of their food in garden plots on the edge of town. Although she lives in the middle of Des Moines, Anne grows dozens of varietals of organic heirloom tomatoes to share with her friends and neighbors.

Anne attended Wartburg College in Waverly, IA, where she met her husband Shawn, and is the mother of three hungry teenagers who she tries to feed healthfully. She loves camping at the Iowa State Fair, is an eternal student of drawing and woodworking, and can’t wait for that call to be on Jeopardy!.
