Originally owned by Steve Beaumont, a retired carpenter with a passion for the land, Morning Star Acres found new life when Steve generously donated his deed to the Sustainable Iowa Land Trust (SILT). Through SILT’s intervention, Morning Star Acres became a beacon of hope for aspiring farmers seeking an opportunity to cultivate the land sustainably.
