Iowa farmland values decline nearly 9%

The Iowa Realtors Land Institute farmland survey through March shows the average value of cropland fell to $6,732 an acre, 8.7 percent lower less than a year ago, or 22.5 percent lower in 2013. Farm incomes gave been dropping at even higher rates.
